new year yay

actually, i have a bad feeling about 2025, especially for the internet. i just heard that meta is going to add AI accounts to facebook and instagram. what the heck? i don’t use any social media besides reddit and youtube, but still, it kinda sucks for the ppl who actually use those websites. the only thing i can imagine as a continuation of this is arguing with someone for hours, only to find out they were an AI chatbot designed to ragebait you.

i don’t hate AI (you can do pretty cool stuff with it actually); i just hate how it’s being used.


sometimes i feel like i’m falling behind on a lot of things. for example, i really want to learn C# to make video games, but then i start thinking: “what if i focus on this and end up neglecting my other hobbies or forgetting about them entirely?” it feels like i don’t have enough time to pursue everything i want. i think it’s time to stop trying to juggle too many things at once and instead create a plan to prioritize what to do and in what order.
i also finally started making PS1-style low-poly 3D models with blender. here’s a cool PC model i made:

it looks wobbly because i took a screenshot of my video which also has vertex wobbling.

'Baris Mancho' is the name of an album i listened to recently. it’s made by barış manço, the superb psychedelic anatolian rock artist. i didnt know he made english songs until we were in our car and my father put 'nick the chopper' on while we were going somewhere.

barış always impresses me with the instruments, its like a backing track played by western ppl and baris manco comes and adds his own thing to it. i like it a lot. i rate it a....
